Hey, boo! If you're reading this, you want to download and play The Sims 3! Cool! It's one of my favorite Sims games. So let's get started.
1. Decide where you want to download it.
There are two places to download The Sims 3. Origin or Steam. If you have The Sims 4 on Origin, I would suggest you buy it on Origin. ALL LINKS ARE FOR THE UNITED STATES!
You will need to have an account and download The Steam client for PC. Steam doesn't really have a lot of options for MAC. Double-check if this is available for MAC. You can buy The Sims 3 base game on Steam for $19.99 USD.
If you choose Origin, you have MAC/PC download. It's the same price for this starter pack $19.99 USD. It comes with Late Night Expansion and 1 Stuff Pack. The same price on Steam but you get it bundled for the same price. If you're new to Origin, you also have to download its client program. Then you can buy it.
2. Buy and Download
This is self-explanatory. Just start buying and downloading the game.
3. REMEMBER THIS!
The Sims 3 is a very heavy game with its open-world feature. LOOK AT THE RECOMMENDED COMPUTER SPECS BEFORE BUYING! The Sims 3 can either run smoothly or not at all depending on your specs. It can get worse when you start modding. Google how to find your system specs and compare to the image below.
