The Sims 4 team suffered power loss during their Business & Hobbies Livestream
Update: The new time for the livestream is March 3 at 1 pm EST on YouTube and Twitch.
The Sims 4 livestream for the Businesses & Hobbies Expansion had to be rescheduled after the studio lost power on Feb. 28. The reason behind the power outage is unknown to the public.
"Hi Simmers, unfortunately our broadcast studio has lost power impacting our Businesses & Hobbies Livestream. Was it Robin Banks? We'll be rescheduling our livestream and will share details when they become available. "
The livestream was supposed to show the upcoming pack in more detail. Hosts Mersea and Scott, senior game design for the expansion, made it approximately 13 minutes into the livestream before the technical difficulties.
Before the livestream cut off, they revealed that there are 76 activities players can designate when making a small business across the base game and expansion. More will come if players have additional packs.
Scott even did the math and said there could be 2.2 billion unique business configurations since players can mix and match up to five activities that customers can do.
They also quickly showed off the idealist trait, entrepreneurial aspiration, and even how the small business tab looks in the job panel while introducing the sim family.
